The European Response to the Financial Crisis (1st December 2008)

On Monday 1st December, CEPS, in cooperation with Notre Europe, the EPC and Bruegel hosted a lunchtime debate to discuss the concrete measures that could be taken at the European level to address the financial crisis. Tommaso Padoa Schioppa, President of Notre Europe and former Finance Minister of Italy delivered a keynote speech, followed by comments by Daniel Gros, Director of CEPS, André Sapir, Senior Fellow at Bruegel, and Hans Martens, CEO of the EPC.

The event took place at CEPS premises from 13.15 to 14.30.
