Karel has been chief executive of the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) since 2000 and senior research fellow since 1997. He is a member of the European Shadow Financial Regulatory Committee (ESFRC) and has published widely on EU and financial regulation matters.
Fredrik is part of the research team in ECRI and a researcher in the Financial Markets and Institutions Unit at CEPS.
He has been involved in projects related to the Payment Services Directive, Retail Investors, Financial reporting and insurance products for households.
Beatriz is events and membership coordinator for the Financial Markets and Institutions unit of CEPS and the European Credit Research Institute.
Membership
The European Credit Research Institute (ECRI) is a think-tank managed by CEPS and has its own board with its own strategy. At present, its funding is based on some combination of research projects and membership fees. ECRI is supported by 11 prestigious members whose primary focus is on payments and consumer loans:

The European Credit Research Institute (ECRI) is an independent, non‐profit research institute that develops its expertise from an interdisciplinary team and networks of academic cooperation partners. It was founded in 1999 by a consortium of European banking and financial institutions. ECRI’s operations and staff are managed by the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS).
